Today I am so grateful for my ability to live by the ocean, to sail in it and marvel at its strength. It gives me much joy

Today I am ever so grateful to those men with their imagination that built a little wooden boat and set sail for somewhere down south! There is absolutely nothing logical about that but look where it took them and look at what their imagination found when it spotted and landed on this beautiful land, Australia.

Life on the beach here in sunny +35 degree this beautiful catamaran reminds me of how much I love sailing and how thankful I am for having been able to sail all those years ago in SA.

A great family day was had by all, the parents helped the children build their pool and the children just loved it. So thankful for a wonderful family, for fun, health and love in the sun.

The new and the old how far have we progressed with modern technology etc the Queen Mary 2 (launched 2004) sailing into the harbour this morning past

The Endeavour (originally launched 1764)

Captained by Lieutenant James Cook with a crew of 40 it was scuttled during the American Revolution War the replica launched in 1994

Now captained by Captain Christopher Rynd with a crew of 1253 and 2620 passengers

Totally amazing to me to see them together and think of the brave young men who boarded the Endeavour and discoved this beautiful land how thankful I am to them.

The JOY of living in a city on the ocean, to be able to watch the Queen Elizabeth sail out of the harbour on her maidan voyage, to be in awe at her size and structure, even this Princess cruise ship is small in comparison, especially when seen as a small boat revs up to pass her by. I am so thankful for my ability to enter in and enjoy the sailing world so easily, oh how I love this huge big ocean that surrounds us all.
